Biography
I am a physiotherapist by background and although I continue to contribute to the work of my professional body, I have spent the last 25 years leading a range of multi-professional initiatives mainly at national level. These have focused working effectively with others on service redesign and using the power of information to improve the quality of health and care, user experience and outcome.
I work for the Scottish Government Digital Health and Care Division as a Clinical Lead with responsibility for NMAHP strategic direction. My wider portfolio also includes working with a number of other national, professional and academic organisations in relation to Quality Improvement, informatics, clinical guidance and research. I am also a non-executive Board member and vice-chair of Bield Housing & Care, contributing to the governance and strategy of this important organisation.
